Koraneza Gerald - Team Leader

Koraneza Gerald is a passionate disability rights advocate, political scientist, and development practitioner with extensive experience in governance, civic engagement, and inclusion programming. He is the Founder and Team Leader of Ubuntu Disability Action for Development Uganda (UDAD-U), a legally registered non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the inclusion, empowerment, and rights of persons with disabilities across Uganda, with a special focus on last-mile and historically marginalized communities.

Gerald holds a degree in Political Science from Makerere University and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Public Administration and Management. His work bridges research, policy advocacy, and grassroots mobilization to challenge stigma, promote inclusive development, and strengthen access to justice, education, and livelihoods for persons with disabilities.

Gerald has previously served in strategic roles related to government relations, partnerships, and risk analysis, and brings a wealth of experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. He is committed to building an inclusive Uganda where persons with disabilities are active contributors to national development.
